Issue

Recent spike of ASB related behaviour in the local area. Tackle ASB and Crime in Oscott area.

Action

Action taken: High visibility patrols– requesting other departments to assist including Safer Travel. Recruit members for local street watch groups.

AUGUST UPDATE: Officers have been attending local schools and youth facilities, delivering talks regarding Anti - social behaviour to young people. Officers have been patrolling hotspot locations to try to identify any individuals causing asb.

Issue

Spike in youth violence and knife related crime. Tackle and deter Robberies and violent crime within the area.

Action

Gathering information and intelligence as well as working with the community, intelligence departments and Offender Managers and local school intervention officers.
UPDATE - On 1st August 2025 officers from the team delivered knife crime talks to young people at Fortis Academy.
Extra patrols and weapon searches have been conducted in open space areas.

Issue

Tackle Vehicle crime/Vehicle related offences around the area.

Action

Working with Birmingham City Council to address causes of Vehicle issues and encouraging the community to report offences via Op Snap.
