Excess Speeding

During this months PACT meeting held at Holbrooks Community Centre, members of the community raised concerns that they are concerned about excess speeding on the roads.

Members of the community raised at PACT meeting that general parking that is dangerous in nature by reducing visibility around junctions is a concern for the community.

This concern has been noted and shared with the relevant departments for further assessment. We are currently reviewing potential measures to address visibility and safety issues caused by inappropriate parking near junctions. Updates will be provided as soon as further information becomes available. Ongoing review

Theft of tools from vehicles were raised as a concern by members of the public.

This issue has been flagged with local policing teams and community safety partners. Awareness is being raised through targeted communications, and residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity and take preventative measures such as securing tools and parking in well-lit areas. Lack of general visibility of officers around the ward was raised as a concern.
