The team continue to conduct pro-active patrols around key locations and are working closely with the road harm prevention team and partner agencies to identify and prosecute those involved with over 108 bikes seized in the last 12 months.

Robbery and Public Place Violence involving mopeds

The team continue to conduct high visibility mobile and foot patrols around key locations in order to deter and identify persons involved.This has resulted in the recent arrest of a nominal involved in recent moped robberies as well as working closely with youth workers and partners to educate and divert those involved.

Theft from Motor Vehicles

The team are actively conducting patrols around intelligence led locations and known hot spots to deter and identify those involved. The team have conducted a number of recent arrests for vehicle offenders and are working closely with CID colleagues to progress these matters.
