Update 16th August 25

From the 8th August-10th August 25, we have ran three days off action to tackle antisocial behaviour on off road bikes as well as a crackdown of moped robberies. This activity consisted of a day of warrants plus two days of proactive patrol with our WMP colleagues from many departments across WMP including Drones, Road traffic and off-road bike team. As well as our own officers we also had assistance from Warwickshire and Staffordshire.
We understand the frustration the community have around the use of off-road bikes and theft of mopeds and are working hard to address the issues and take positive steps to take bikes off offenders and prosecute them for the offences they commit.

Over the three days of action the following was achieved:

•9 arrests for a range of driving offences, Robbery, Assault and Possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs
•3 Vehicles seized and offenders reported for the offence of driving a motor vehicle with no insurance
•11 off road bikes and scooter seized
•3 Quad bikes seized
•2 high powered electric bikes
•3 ebikes ridden dangerously and adapted
•2 machetes seized
