Burglary
Action
It goes without saying that everyone should feel safe in their home, and it is important to underline that the great majority of the time, people’s homes are safe. However we recognise that burglary is a very traumatic and impactive experience so will prioritise not only the way we respond to reports of burglary, but the way we try to prevent it happening in the first place. We will combine intelligence led proactive patrols, targeting of offenders, crime prevention initiatives and wraparound victim care to focus on reducing the occurrence and impact of burglary.
This set of shifts our burglary patrols have seen:
- 4 males in a vehicle stopped and searched acting suspiciously in a burglary hotspot. Nothing found but intelligence gleaned.

Off -Road motorcycles in Elmdon Park
Action
Anti-social behaviour caused by off-road bikes is regularly reported, particularly in and around Elmdon Park, and this has potential to increase as the weather improves. We want our public spaces to be enjoyed by the community in peace, comfort and safety, and so commit to tackling this problem. We will use problem solving tactics to target anti-social behaviour caused by off-road bikes, and have already conducted several operations with traffic resources and partners.
Following the arrest of a male for Dangerous Driving on an off road bike in Elmdon Park the courts have banned him from driving for 12 months and issued a £100 fine
