Taking robust action to tackle vehicle crime

Last year we saw a reduction in overall crime around the NEC of 15% and a reduction in vehicle crime of 14%. We would like to see this decrease further over the coming year. We will look to work with local business to make it harder for thieves to steal vehicles and to highlight any patterns or key areas which may help identify areas to improve security or increase patrols.

We recently ran a successful theft from person operation at the BP Pulse arena which resulted in 0 thefts whereby other venues for the same event had seen significant increases.
