Shop lifting around Bloxwich High Street and local shops around Bloxwich

Action

We continue to carry out regular patrols in the area to maintain a visible presence and actively deter any incidents of shoplifting and anti social behaviour. As part of our proactive approach, we maintain ongoing engagement with local businesses, building strong relationshipos through regular contact and support. In the event of any reported incidents, we work closely with shop staff to review CCTV footage and assist in identifying potential offenders. Our presence also serves to provide reassurance to retailers and the wider community, reinforcing our commitment to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Issue

Tackling incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour across the area

Action

Anti social behaviour is an issue that we encounter in various forms on a daily basis. Whether it presents as public disturbances, minor acts of vandalism, or behaviour that causes discomfort or concern to local residents and businesses, our team remains vigilant and responsive. We understand the impact that persistent anti social conduct can have on the overall sense of safety and wellbeing within the community, which is why we take proactive and preventive approach.

Our efforts are focused on early intervention and identifying and addressing issues promptly to prevent them from escalating or becoming a wider nuisance. This includes maintain a visible presence through regular patrols, engaging directly with individuals involved, and working in partnership with local authorities and support services when necessary. By responding swiftly and appropriately, we aim to discourage repeat behaviour, reassure the public, and contribute to a safer and more welcoming environment for everyone.

Issue

Policing Priority - Addressing begging and rough sleeping in the High Street area and associated issues. Providing support where needed and taking action when required

Action

Throughout the course of our regular patrols and daily operations, we have not encountered or receive any report of individuals engaging in begging or experiencing homelessness within our area. This absence of such reports is a positive indicator of the effectiveness of our ongoing efforts and collaborative initiatives. We are encouraged by this progress and remain committed to maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all members of the community.
