Policing Priority
Preventing ASB & Crime in Palfrey Park and surrounding area.
Action
As the warmer weather is now here and with the summer school holidays approaching we anticipate more people will be visiting local parks. We want to ensure our communities feel safe when they visit local parks such as Palfrey. Reducing youth related violence remains a priority for Walsall police and the wider force area.
June 2025 Update:
We have carried out regular patrols in Palfrey Park and engage with families and young people. We continue to hold police drop-in surgeries to offer advice and provide an opportunity for local residents to speak to us and discuss any concerns. As Summer holidays approach, we will be encouraging people to be considerate and will be visiting some of the summer activities taking place in the park
As some of the summer activities will commence in Palfrey park officers from your local NHT will be conducting patrols engaging with park users.
The park has football activities, Cricket activities, play area, exercise area and lots of green spaces for all to enjoy.
August 2025 Update
Delves officers will continue to patrol around Palfrey Park on a regular basis as the Park is getting busy with families taking advantage of the warm weather and school holidays. Great to see lots of park users taking advantage of what the park has to offer.

During the 6 weeks school holidays officers from the team have visited Palfrey Park most days during the shift. The park has been very busy at times especially during the hot spell, Officers will continue to patrol the park and show a visible presence to offer that re-assurance to park users.
