Drug dealing issues (Policing Priority)

Over the last month officers have conducted a large number of stop searches on individuals over the Darlaston and Bentley areas on our continued in patrols in areas we believe these issues are taking place. We continue to obtain valuable information from members of the public around those involved in drug dealing.

Speeding and parking around our schools

Since our last update PCSOs or PCs have been outside schools in our areas during all early and late shifts we have been available to do so. Educating and moving on drivers parked inappropriately or dangerously. We will be working with parking enforcement officers to take appropriate action against those who continue to put children at risk walking to and from school.

Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB). Specifically incidents of illegal use of motorbikes and electric bikes.

We have responded to a large number of calls regarding this on going issue and have obtained information about those potentially involved. We are working with the local council to stop vehicles getting onto hotspot areas and have today (09/04/25) had a joint operation with West Midlands Police Road Harm Prevention Team, targeting unlawful off road bike usage. We have a number of Section 59 notices that are going be issued soon, which gives us the power to seize vehicles being used anti-socially if a person warned is involved in vehicle based anti social behaviour a second time in 12 months.
