Ettingshall South & Springvale – Both police and the local authority are receiving reports of speeding on the Birmingham New Road and Black Country Route.

The Neighbourhood team are liaising with, and supporting the force wide strategy with regards to this issue, known as Operation Hercules.
The team are in receipt of weekly briefings to inform and plan their patrols in order to contribute to the management of this problematic behaviour.

There has been a reduction in calls for service with regards to this issue and there were no organised meets within our wards that we were made aware of.
The team encourage the community to report any incidents of speeding or organised meets.

Officers have proactively targeted those who show a disregard for road users which has resulted in the seizure of vehicles and the arrest of those disqualified from driving.

Officers have been made aware of a number of vehicles within the area which do not conform to legal requirements including tax, insurance and MOT. These vehicles are causing issues to local residents.

The team actively patrol the area and response to intelligence provided by the public.

We will continue to seize vehicles and carry out enforcement activity that refuse to comply.

Anti Social Behaviour in Hickman park including the use of off road bikes causing damage to the surface.

We have reports of fireworks going off late in the evening.

The team are ensuring regular patrols are conducted in the area at various times of the day to assess the situation.
We will be working closely with partners to see what other preventive measures can be taken.

A multi agency operation is due to take place shortly.

Anti Social Behaviour on Dudley Road including the driving of vehicles to cause a nuisance on Poplar street.

Officers are linking with partner agencies and will be conducting a joint visit to properties engaging in ASB. Persons identified as causing/contributing to ASB can expect criminal/civil interventions.
