Issue

Little London and Woodhouse Ward Areas

To prevent the usage of communal areas within tower blocks for antisocial behaviour and drug use. We will conduct regular patrols within the tower blocks, to remove anyone found to be causing antisocial behaviour.
To combat the usage and supply of drugs in the Blackman Lane and Hanover Square area, with particular attention being paid to electric bikes being used for deliveries of drugs.
To work alongside retail premises to take action and gather evidence against individuals who commit shoplifting offences at retail stores on Oatland Lane.

Issue

Adel and Wharfdale Ward Areas

To address concerns about obstructive parking across the ward. We will conduct checks of the area at key times, to ensure safe parking.
Combat Anti-social behaviour on the Holt Park area . We will tackle anti-social behaviour with a visible presence at key times, based on reporting.
To work alongside retail premises to take action and gather evidence against individuals who commit offences (shoplifting)

Issue

Guiseley Ward Area

To monitor/patrol the area along Otley Road whereby Right Turns are prohibited and take enforcement action against drivers committing this offence.
To maintain a police presence in the High Royds estate area to discourage ASB occurring. Visiting and gathering information and intelligence on the group responsible for the current rise in ASB calls.
Conducting high visibility patrols to deter shoplifting offenders within the 2 retail park areas. Working alongside shop security to gather evidence and encourage staff to report shoplifting incidents to be investigated.

Issue

Weetwood Ward Area

To target speeding and inconsiderate parking in and around the Tinshill area, in particular the areas around Wynfords/Spennithorns and Otley Old Road.
Engaging and enforcing 20mph zones and correct junction usages in the West Park, Far Headingley and Meanwood area.
To deal with ASB at Becketts Park playing fields and west park playing fields, this is impacting on residents and the business users. If you have any information in relation to this issue, please ring 101 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111 or crimestoppers-uk.org

Otley Ward Area

To intercept travelling vehicles involved in drug supply believed to be coming over from the Bradford area where possible.
To maintain a police presence in the area of Billams Hill to deter poor and inconsiderate parking in and around the school at drop off/pick up times.
To focus on the Summer Surge in Otley Town Centre to deter the summer rise is ASB and Theft from Shop. To work with business owners developing and taking action on reports and intelligence received.

Issue

Headingley and Hyde Park Ward Areas

Enforcement against antisocial use of vehicles, including unsafe parking & usage of E-Scooters. We will look to take action against any offences witnessed.
Tackling drug-dealing and usage in the area. We will continue to obtain search warrants for addresses suspected to be involved in the cultivation/dealing of drugs.
Enforcement against drunk & disorderly behaviour along the length of the 'Otley Run' in Headingley. We will work alongside partnership agencies to enforce the current Public Space Protection Order (PSPO). We will also work alongside local businesses who support the 'Otley Run' to maintain communication on problem solving.

Issue

Horsforth Ward Area

To maintain a police presence in Craghill Woods. To visit and engage with youths in the area signposting to youth provisions.
To provide a visible deterrent and conduct high visibility patrols in areas where residential burglaries are frequently occurring. Re-visiting victims of burglaries to provide re-assurance and conducting proactive visits to give out crime prevention advice to households.
To work alongside retail premises and to engage and ensure crime prevention advice is given and offered to those who need it/want it .

Issue

Yeadon and Rawdon Ward Areas

To maintain a police presence in the area of New Road to deter poor and inconsiderate parking in and around the schools at drop off/pick up times.
To conduct parking patrols on and around Henshaw Lane and deal with any offences of vehicles parked not in accordance with the highway code.
To deal with ASB on Yeadon High Street which is impacting local businesses. To work with business owners developing and taking action on reports and intelligence received.
