Action
Rural crime continues to be a focus for the team especially now we are in the poaching / hare coursing season. We are continuing to conduct proactive operations with our neighbouring forces and our Rural Crime Team in tackling rural crime.

We have been working closely with businesses and partner agencies within the City to prevent and deter offences of shoplifting and proactively dealing with offenders involved in these crimes.

Action
Where appropriate PSPO enforcement tickets have been issued and followed up with Wiltshire Council.

Theft from motor vehicles / outbuildings
Action
We have received reports of theft from vehicles and outbuildings, with tools and garden equipment being stolen from within. High visibility targeted patrols are being conducted.

Salisbury Area Board
Area Boards are a way of working to bring local decision making into the heart of the community. There are 18 Area Boards across Wiltshire, with each one holding delegated powers and devolved budgets to facilitate community action at a local level. Residents and local organisations are encouraged to engage with their local Area Board by contacting their local Councillor or Community Engagement Manager or by attending one of the local business meetings, community events, working groups or activities.
