Action
Rural crime continues to be a focus for the team especially now we are in the poaching / hare coursing season. We are continuing to conduct proactive operations with our neighbouring forces and our Rural Crime Team in tackling rural crime.

Theft from motor vehicles / outbuildings
Action
High visibility targeted patrols are being conducted. Extensive crime prevention advice has been provided across media outlets and local engagements will continue in the coming weeks.

PSPO Street Drinkers
Action
Officers have been proactively patrolling hotspot areas as part of the ASB funded additional patrols within the city and surrounding areas. Where appropriate PSPO enforcement tickets have been issued and followed up with Wiltshire Council.

Business Crime
Action
We have been working closely with businesses and partner agencies within the City to prevent and deter offences of shoplifting and proactively dealing with offenders involved in these crimes.

Area Boards are a way of working to bring local decision making into the heart of the community. There are 18 Area Boards across Wiltshire, with each one holding delegated powers and devolved budgets to facilitate community action at a local level.
