Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Patrols

Action

Community reassurance patrols will continue for the foreseeable as there have been recent reports of ASB and criminal damage around the area of the Mere Bowls Club with drug paraphernalia also being left at the locations.

Continuing to patrol and monitor across the NPT areas; working with local intelligence reports that come in.

Issue

Rural crime – Burglaries

Action

Ongoing rural burglary patrols owing to multiple burglaries in the area.

Extra patrols of heritage sites to aid with community tension from rise in burglaries in the area will also be in affect.

Action

Community drop-ins to be increased and held at the Nadder Centre and Mere Police Station.

Surrounding villages will be also getting a monthly pop up community engagement event in village centres/squares.

These events will be advertised on social media and on Your Area.

Engagement with primary schools in the area for “People Who Keep Us Safe” talks in line with current school curriculum will continue throughout the academic year.

Action

The local neighbourhood team will be liaising with Speed Enforcement Officers to target designated areas of concerns.
